Class of 2014 Has Left The Building

t’s been quite some time since my last post and I didn’t want the school year to end without you getting a note from my desk! The end of the school year is such a busy time for educators especially at the high school level with end of course exams, Student learning objective test, AP Exams, and other final projects. Friday of last week my students completed their senior exit presentations , exams, and participated in the coveted senior walk. I am excited for many of them as they are now moving on from this learning experience to the myriad of opportunities that await them. What a ride it has been! This year has been full of challenges, triumphs, victories, and defeats but we made it! Hopefully they will take with them not only the lessons about grammar, writing effective papers, Shakespeare, but the lessons about integrity, respect, dignity, and self worth .
